Requirements

Our website is best viewed with the latest version of Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Safari or Google Chrome. JavaScript should be enabled on your browser.

A keyword search box is provided at the top of most screens for you to conduct quick full-text searches on our entire website. On the search result page, apart from the list of matched pages and documents, our search engine will also provide filters for you to narrow down the results to a particular committee and/or session year.

The search result page also provides an Advanced Search function. By this, you can conduct search using multiple keywords at the same time and confine the scope to certain date range. You can also look up a document by our LegCo paper number.

When the documents you have found are available in both Chinese and English, a hyperlink will be available for each of them in the search result, so that you can view the version in the other language swiftly.

Find Members/Committees/Bills

Besides website search, you can also click "Members", "Committees" or "Bills" and then enter keywords to look for and jump directly to the web pages of a particular Member, committee or bill without navigating through our menu. Even if you cannot remember the full name, you can simply enter a few words there and the search box will be user-friendly enough to offer automatic suggestions for you to choose.

LegCo Databases

Our website has developed a number of databases to facilitates users to search information of different areas. You can find "LegCo Databases" next to website/Members/committees/bills search. On clicking this, you can see a list of databases of different subjects, such as Members, bills, Members' interests, Hansards, library catalogue, etc. You can click any of them to go to that database and look up information there.

Quick Links

At the top of most screens is a quick link icon which will lead you to the quick links at the bottom of the pages. These quick links point to various pages within our website. We hope they can help you locate the pages of your interest quickly.
