At its meeting on 23 May 2007, the Legislative Council passed the following three bills: (1) Import and Export (Amendment) Bill 2007. (2) Unsolicited Electronic Messages Bill, with amendments proposed by the Secretary for Commerce, Industry and Technology at Committee Stage. (3) Revenue (No. 2) Bill 2007. At the same meeting, the Council passed the following two motions with no legislative effect: (1) Motion on "Policies on sustainable urban development and green buildings", moved by Prof Hon Patrick LAU Sau-shing. (2) Motion on "Safeguarding the safety of live and fresh food", moved by Hon TAM Yiu-chung as amended by Hon Vincent FANG Kang and Hon Fred LI Wah-ming.
