At its meeting on 6, 7 and 8 June 2007, the Legislative Council passed the following bill: Rail Merger Bill, with amendments proposed by the Secretary for the Environment, Transport and Works at Committee Stage. At the same meeting, the Council passed the following two motions with no legislative effect: (1) Motion on "Commission on Children", moved by Dr Hon Fernando CHEUNG Chiu-hung. (2) Motion on "Concern about students with special educational needs", moved by Hon Bernard CHAN.
