At its meeting on 28 and 29 May 2008, the Legislative Council passed the following three bills: (1) Dutiable Commodities (Amendment) Bill 2008, with amendments moved by the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development at Committee Stage. (2) Dutiable Commodities (Amendment) (No. 2) Bill 2008. (3) Prevention and Control of Disease Bill, with amendments moved by the Secretary for Food and Health at Committee Stage. At the same meeting, the Council passed the following motion not intended to have legislative effect: Motion on "Immediately improving the health care services in Hong Kong", moved by Dr Hon KWOK Ka-ki as amended by Hon LI Kwok-ying.
