At its meeting on 4 February 2009, the Legislative Council passed the following resolution: Resolution moved by Hon Miriam LAU Kin-yee relating to the extension of the period for amending the Independent Police Complaints Council Ordinance (Commencement) Notice. At the same meeting, the Council passed the following motion not intended to have legislative effect: Motion on "Promoting the development of local creative industries", moved by Dr Hon Samson TAM Wai-ho as amended by Hon Cyd HO Sau-lan and Hon Paul CHAN Mo-po.
