At its meeting on 6 January 2010, the Legislative Council passed the following bill: Inland Revenue (Amendment) (No. 3) Bill 2009, with amendments moved by the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury at Committee stage. At the same meeting, the Council passed the following resolution: Resolution moved by the Secretary for the Environment relating to the Energy Efficiency (Labelling of Products) Ordinance (Amendment of Schedules) Order 2009. The following two motions not intended to have legislative effect were also passed by the Council: (1) Motion on "Establishing a comprehensive consumer protection regime", moved by Hon Starry LEE Wai-king as amended by Hon WONG Kwok-hing and Hon Fred LI Wah-ming. (2) Motion on "Promoting the sports development in Hong Kong", moved by Hon IP Kwok-him as amended by Hon LEE Wing-tat and Hon Paul CHAN Mo-po.
