At its meeting of 8 and 9 December 2010, the Legislative Council passed the following bill: Road Traffic (Amendment) Bill 2010, with amendments moved by the Secretary for Transport and Housing at Committee stage. At the same meeting, the Council passed the following two resolutions: (1) Resolution moved by the Secretary for the Environment relating to the Second Technical Memorandum for Allocation of Emission Allowances in Respect of Specified Licences. (2) Resolution moved by Hon TAM Yiu-chung relating to the extension of the period for amending the Minimum Wage Ordinance (Amendment of Schedule 3) Notice 2010, the Minimum Wage Ordinance (Commencement) Notice 2010, the Minimum Wage Ordinance (Commencement) (No. 2) Notice 2010 and the Employment Ordinance (Amendment of Ninth Schedule) Notice 2010. The following motion not intended to have legislative effect was also passed by the Council: Motion on "Air pollution and public health", moved by Hon KAM Nai-wai as amended by Hon CHAN Hak-kan, Hon IP Wai-ming and Hon Ronny TONG Ka-wah.
