Terms of reference
To study and compare the service provision (including various aspects such as the leasing mix, diversity of services, rental level, commodity prices, suitability of services and vacancy rate) in shopping centres, markets and carparks in public rental housing ("PRH")/Home Ownership Scheme ("HOS") estates run publicly (by the Housing Department) and privately (by Link or disposed of by Link), and the level of impact of different operation modes on the grass roots living in PRH or HOS estates; and to review, on this basis, whether the Hong Kong Housing Authority can duly discharge its duties to secure the provision of housing and such amenities ancillary thereto as that Authority thinks fit as stipulated under section 4(1) of the Housing Ordinance. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
