LegCo Panel on Home Affairs visits site office of Kai Tak Sports Park (with photos)
The Legislative Council ("LegCo") Panel on Home Affairs visited the site office of Kai Tak Sports Park ("KTSP") today (31 August) to understand the progress of the development of KTSP.
Accompanied by the Commissioner for Sports of the Home Affairs Bureau, Mr YEUNG Tak-keung, Members first received a briefing by representatives of the Home Affairs Bureau and the Kai Tak Sports Park Limited on the design features and latest development of KTSP and thus learnt about the use and operation mode of KTSP after its completion in 2023. Members then visited the site office of KTSP and observed the construction progress of major facilities in KTSP, including the Main Stadium, the Indoor Sports Centre, the Public Sports Ground and the Public Open Space.
Members who participated in the visit were the Panel Chairman, Hon LEUNG Che-cheung, Panel members Hon Michael TIEN Puk-sun, Hon YUNG Hoi-yan, Hon LAU Kwok-fan and Hon Vincent CHENG Wing-shun; as well as non-Panel member Ir Dr Hon LO Wai-kwok.
