(EC(2024-25)11 – (a) Creation of four permanent posts/non-civil service positions of one Controller, Public Health (D4/D4-equivalent non-civil service position), one Assistant Director of Health (D2/D2-equivalent non-civil service position), one Chief Pharmacist (D1/D1-equivalent non-civil service position) and one Chief Electronics Engineer (D1/D1-equivalent non-civil service position) within six months from the date of approval by the Finance Committee; (b) deletion of four permanent posts of Consultants (D2/D3/D4) upon creation of the posts under (a); and (c) redeployment of seven permanent posts of two Assistant Directors of Health (D2), three Chief Pharmacists (D1) and two Principal Medical and Health Officers (D1) in the Department of Health to support the establishment and operation of the Hong Kong Centre for Medical Products Regulation)

(EC(2024-25)12 – Re-grading of two permanent posts of Assistant Commissioner for Transport (D2) to Government Engineer (D2) in the Transport Department with immediate effect upon approval of the Finance Committee to cope with the increasing need for the post-holders to possess professional knowledge in traffic engineering and technology and the relevant duties so as to address present and future developments and challenges facing the Transport Department)
