Election of Chairman

Mr Edward HO Sing-tin, the Convenor of the meeting, invited nominations for the Chairman. Dr Samuel WONG Ping-wai was nominated by Mr Ronald ARCULLI, and seconded by Dr Edward LEONG Che-hung. Dr Samuel WONG Ping-wai accepted the nomination.

2. There being no other nomination, Dr Samuel WONG Ping-wai was declared elected as Chairman of the Public Works Subcommittee for the 1995-96 session.

Election of Deputy Chairman

3. The Convenor called for nominations for the Deputy Chairman. Mr Albert CHAN Wai-yip was nominated by Dr Samuel WONG Ping-wai, and seconded by Mr Ronald ARCULLI. Mr Albert CHAN Wai-yip accepted the nomination.

4. There being no other nomination, Mr Albert CHAN Wai-yip was declared elected as Deputy Chairman of the Public Works Subcommittee for the 1995-96 session.

Date of Next Meeting

5. The Convenor advised Members that the next meeting of the Subcommittee would be held on Wednesday, 8 November 1995 at 10.45 a.m.

6. The meeting ended at 11.35 a.m.
