The Administration undertook to check with other bureaux to see if estimates of number of enterprises that would initiate retrenchment in the coming year was available.

The Administration was requested to provide detailed information, including sex and age profiles, on different categories such as returnees and new arrivals, and local people who would be ready to join the workforce, to facilitate a more comprehensive job assessment.
