Review of applicability of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance to "State" organs stationed in the SAR	25.2.99	The Administration was requested to advise on the timing for completing the review.	Administration's interim reply circulated vide LC Paper No. CB(2)1970/98-99(01) dated 14 May 1999. The Administration undertakes to report to the Panel as soon as the review has been completed. The Home Affairs Bureau has advised the Secretariat verbally in early October that the position has remained unchanged.
