Panel on Commerce and Industry and Panel on Economic Services
(Duty visit from 21 August 2007 to 1 September 2007)

The Legislative Council Panel on Commerce and Industry and Panel on Economic Services conducted a 12-day overseas duty visit to Dubai, Europe and the United States from 21 August to 1 September 2007. The purpose of the visit is for Members to obtain first-hand information on the development of convention and exhibition facilities and cruise terminal facilities in these places.

The eight-member delegation was led by Hon Vincent FANG Kang. Other members include Hon Jeffrey LAM Kin-fung, deputy delegation leader, Hon WONG Ting-kwong, Hon Timothy FOK Tsun-ting, Hon Andrew LEUNG Kwan-yuen, Hon James TIEN Pei-chun, Hon Howard YOUNG, and Hon Mrs Selina CHOW LIANG Shuk-yee.
