Panel on Development
(Duty visit from 13 to 21 March 2008)

The Legislative Council Panel on Development conducted a nine-day overseas duty visit to Amsterdam and Prague from 13 to 21 March 2008. The purpose of the visit is to study relevant overseas experiences in town planning and urban renewal to shed lights on the world trends and alternative strategies and approaches adopted by other places to tackle problems and confront challenges that are similar to those faced by Hong Kong.

The delegation comprised eight Members, including Hon LAU Wong-fat (Panel Chairman and delegation leader), Prof Hon Patrick LAU Sau-shing (Deputy Chairman of the Panel), Hon James TO Kun-sun, Hon Timothy FOK Tsun-ting, Hon Albert CHAN Wai-yip, Hon Daniel LAM Wai-keung, Hon Alan LEONG Kah-kit and Hon Frederick FUNG Kin-kee.
