Panel on Food Safety and Environmental Hygiene
(Duty visit from 24 to 30 March 2008)

The Legislative Council Panel on Food Safety and Environmental Hygiene has conducted a seven-day overseas duty visit to France (Paris) and the United Kingdom (London) from 24 to 30 March 2008. The purpose of the visit is to study the policies and regulatory frameworks of food safety put in place in these countries.

The delegation is led by Hon Fred LI Wah-ming, Deputy Chairman of the Panel, and comprises three other Members: Hon WONG Yuk-kan, Dr Hon Joseph LEE Kwok-long and Hon LI Fung-ying.
