Subcommittee on Poverty Alleviation
(Duty visit from 19 to 25 July 2009)

The Legislative Council Subcommittee on Poverty Alleviation has conducted a 7-day overseas duty visit to Taiwan and the Republic of Korea from 19 to 25 July 2009. The purpose of the visit is to study the experience of poverty alleviation and the development of social enterprises in these places.

The delegation is led by Hon Frederick FUNG Kin-kee, Subcommittee Chairman and comprises seven members : Hon LEE Cheuk-yan, Hon LEUNG Yiu-chung, Hon CHEUNG Kwok-che and Hon WONG Sing-chi (Subcommittee members) and Dr Hon LAM Tai-fai, Hon Paul CHAN Mo-po and Hon WONG Yuk-man (non-Subcommittee Members).
