Panel on Administration of Justice and Legal Services
Visit to the Judiciary on 9 March 2015

The Legislative Council Panel on Administration of Justice and Legal Services conducted a duty visit to the Judiciary on 9 March 2015 to exchange views with the Chief Justice and the Chief Judge of the High Court on issues of wide public concern, such as judicial independence, long court waiting times and provision of screens for complainants in sexual offence cases during court proceedings.

The delegation was led by Dr Hon Priscilla LEUNG Mei-fun, Chairman of the Panel, and comprised 9 other members: Hon Dennis KWOK (Deputy Chairman of the Panel), Hon Emily LAU Wai-hing, Hon Starry LEE Wai-king, Hon Paul TSE Wai-chun, Dr Hon Elizabeth QUAT, Hon TANG Ka-piu, Dr Hon CHIANG Lai-wan and Hon CHUNG Kwok-pan (Panel members), as well as Hon Charles Peter MOK (non-Panel Member).
