Panel on Food Safety and Environmental Hygiene
Visit to the Airport Food Inspection Office on 7 March 2014

The Legislative Council ("LegCo") Panel on Food Safety and Environmental Hygiene conducted a visit to the Airport Food Inspection Office on 7 March 2014 to better understand the food surveillance and tests, in particular the examination of radiation level, on imported food by the Centre for Food Safety at the Airport Food Inspection Office.

Members participating in the visit included Dr Hon Helena WONG Pik-wan, Chairman of the Panel, and Prof Hon Joseph LEE Kok-long, a Panel member, as well as Hon Emily LAU Wai-hing and Hon POON Siu-ping who are non-Panel members.
