At its meeting on 28 June 2006, the Legislative Council passed the following bill: Certification for Employee Benefits (Chinese Medicine) (Miscellaneous Amendments) Bill 2005, with amendments proposed by the Secretary for Economic Development and Labour at Committee Stage. At the same meeting, the Council passed the following two motions with no legislative effect: (1) Motion on "Policy on care for the elderly", moved by Dr Hon Joseph LEE Kok-long as amended by Hon LI Kwok-ying and further amended by Dr Hon Fernando CHEUNG Chiu-hung. (2) Motion on "Facilitating urban development", moved by Hon Patrick LAU Sau-shing.
