2005-2006 		Issue No. 26 (14 July 2006)


At its meeting on 12 and 13 July 2006, the Legislative Council passed the following three bills:

(1)Betting Duty (Amendment) Bill 2006, with amendments proposed by the Secretary for Home Affairs at Committee Stage.

(2)Financial Reporting Council Bill, with amendments proposed by the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury at Committee Stage.

(3)Supplementary Appropriation (2005-2006) Bill.


At the same meeting, the Council passed the following three resolutions:

(1)Resolution moved by the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury relating to the Deposit Protection Scheme Ordinance (Amendment of Schedules 1 and 4) Notice 2006.

(2)Resolution moved by the Secretary for Constitutional Affairs relating to the Electoral Affairs Commission (Electoral Procedure) (Election Committee) (Amendment) Regulation 2006.

(3)Resolution moved by the Secretary for Health, Welfare and Food relating to the Pharmacy and Poisons (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulation 2006 and the Poisons List (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulation 2006.
