At its meeting on 24 January 2007, the Legislative Council passed the following resolution:

moved by the Secretary for Security relating to the Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters (Germany) Order

At the same meeting, the Council passed the following two motions with no legislative effect:

Motion on
"Fully safeguarding the safety of food supply to Hong Kong", moved by Hon Fred LI Wah-ming as amended by Hon WONG Yung-kan, Hon Tommy CHEUNG Yu-yan, Dr Hon KWOK Ka-ki and Hon WONG Ting-kwong

Motion on
"Urging the Government to make effective use of the surplus and plough it back into the community", moved by Hon SIN Chung-kai as amended by Hon Frederick FUNG Kin-kee and Hon WONG Kwok-hing
