At its meeting on 30 January 2008, the Legislative Council passed the following bill: Civil Justice (Miscellaneous Amendments) Bill 2007, with amendments proposed by the Chief Secretary for Administration at Committee Stage. At the same meeting, the Council passed the following two resolutions: (1) Resolution moved by the Secretary for Transport and Housing relating to the Tsing Sha Control Area (Tolls, Fees and Charges) Regulation. (2) Resolution moved by Hon Miriam LAU Kin-yee relating to the extension of the period for amending the Road Traffic (Driving Licences) (Amendment) Regulation 2008. The following two motions not intended to have legislative effect were also passed by the Council: (1) Motion on "Optimizing the use of the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Western Corridor", moved by Hon Jeffrey LAM Kin-fung as amended by Hon CHEUNG Hok-ming and Hon Andrew CHENG Kar-foo. (2) Motion on "Sharing the fruits of economic growth by all the people", moved by Hon Miriam LAU Kin-yee as amended by Dr Hon KWOK Ka-ki.
