At its meeting on 20 February 2008, the Legislative Council passed the following bill: Domicile Bill, with amendments proposed by the Secretary for Justice at Committee Stage. At the same meeting, the Council passed the following two resolutions: (1) Resolution moved by the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development relating to the Import and Export (Registration) (Amendment) Regulation 2008. (2) Resolution moved by Hon Jasper TSANG Yok-sing relating to the Rules of Procedure of the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The following two motions not intended to have legislative effect were also passed by the Council: (1) Motion on "Report of the Subcommittee on Review of the Comprehensive Social Security Assistance Scheme", moved by Dr Hon Fernando CHEUNG Chiu-hung. (2) Motion on "Transformation of old industrial areas", moved by Hon CHAN Kam-lam as amended by Hon Alan LEONG Kah-kit and Hon SIN Chung-kai.
