At its meeting on 28 November 2007, the Legislative Council passed the following two motions not intended to have legislative effect: (1) Motion on "Maintaining the political neutrality of the civil service", moved by Hon Margaret NG. (2) Motion on "Responding to the problem of climate change", moved by Hon CHOY So-yuk as amended by Hon Miriam LAU Kin-yee, Hon Audrey EU Yuet-mee, Hon Jeffrey LAM Kin-fung and Hon SIN Chung-kai.
