At its meeting on 19 and 20 December 2007, the Legislative Council passed the following two resolutions: (1) Resolution moved by the Secretary for Food and Health relating to the Pharmacy and Poisons (Amendment) (No. 5) Regulation 2007 and the Poisons List (Amendment) (No. 5) Regulation 2007. (2) Resolution moved by the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury relating to the Securities and Futures (Contracts Limits and Reportable Positions) (Amendment) (No. 2) Rules 2007. At the same meeting, the Council passed the following motion not intended to have legislative effect: Motion on "Establishing a geological park in the eastern part of the New Territories", moved by Hon CHEUNG Hok-ming as amended by Hon Audrey EU Yuet-mee and Hon LI Kwok-ying.
