Pursuant to Standing Order 4AA, His Excellency the Governor, the Right Honourable Christopher Francis PATTEN, attended the Council to enable Members to put questions to him on the following issues:

  1. Working relationship with Preparatory Committee and
  2. Labour relations

10 Members asked questions on the above issues and the Governor replied.

In accordance with Standing Orders, the President adjourned the Council until Wednesday, 7 Feburary 1996.
