Special briefing session and House Committee meeting on 8 July 1997
Subject to the endorsement of the Executive Council at its meeting tomorrow, a special briefing session will be arranged for Members from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm on Tuesday, 8 July 1997 in the Legislative Council Chamber. The briefing will mainly cover subjects under the purview of the Secretary for Security, the Secretary for Constitutional Affairs and the Secretary for Trade and Industry. More details about the briefing will be announced as soon as possible.
2.The Chairman of the House Committee has directed that a special House Committee meeting be held immediately after the special briefing session to follow up on matters raised at the briefing.
