Telecommunication Ordinance (Cap. 106)
Telecommunication (Mobile Earth Stations) (Exemption) Order (L.N. 310)

This Order exempts a person from the requirement of (1) having a licence under section 8(1)(b) of the Telecommunication Ordinance (Cap. 106) ( the Ordinance� for the mere possession of a mobile earth station ( MES�; (2) having a licence under section 8(1)(a) or (b) of the Ordinance for the establishing, maintaining and using a MES within the criteria for exemption as set out in the Schedule to the Order; and (3) having a permit under section 9 of the Ordinance for importing into or exporting form Hong Kong any MES or any component part thereof.

Interpretation and General Clauses Ordinance (Cap. 1)
Rectification of Errors (No. 3) Order 1998 (L.N. 312)

This Order rectifies a number of typographical errors appearing in various ordinances and subsidiary legislation. No changes to the effect of any of the affected provisions is intended by this Order.
