Briefing by the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on the Policy Address
The Chief Executive attended the Council and received questions on matters relating to his policy address.
Six Members asked questions and the Chief Executive replied.
At 3:25 pm, while the Chief Executive was answering a question raised by a Member, there was an uproar in the Public Gallery caused by two men yelling noisily and continuously. The President ordered that the two men be removed.
The Chief Executive continued to answer the question.
Another 21 Members asked questions and the Chief Executive replied.
Next meeting
The President declared that the next meeting of the Council would be held on 13 October 1999 at 2:30 pm.
The Council was adjourned at 4:29 pm.
